A Small Gift With a Big Idea

As part of our Battery Rebate Campaign, we’ve included sunflower seeds with every information pack — a symbol of clean energy, growth, and sharing. Plant your seeds, enjoy the blooms, and at the end of the growing season,  save a few seeds and regift them to someone who needs a little sunshine in their life.

Fun fact: Sunflowers follow the sun — just like your solar system!

Grow Your Sunflowers, Then Regift the Sunshine

🗓️ Best time to plant in Victoria: late September to early December.

1. Find a sunny spot with well-drained soil
2. Plant seeds 1–2 cm deep, spaced 20–30 cm apart
3. Water regularly but don’t overdo it
4. Watch them grow tall and strong
5. Stake if needed, enjoy in 8–12 weeks
6. 
   

At the end of the growing season, harvest seeds and regift a handful to someone who could use a little brightness in their life. You’ll be spreading sunshine,

 encouraging growth, and helping create a ripple effect of sustainable living.

When your sunflowers have bloomed and dried, collect a few seeds and pass them on to someone you care about. It could be a neighbour, friend, colleague — or even a stranger.
